El domingo por la mañana (3 junio) y en un recorrido que rodeaba la Ciudadela de Pamplona, se celebró el I Roller Maratón Ciudad de Pamplona organizado por la Federación Navarra de Patinaje e integrada en la 1ª Copa de España de Patinaje organizada por ChipTiempo con el apoyo de la Real Federación Española de Patinaje, y será la 4ª etapa puntuable de esta Copa. La prueba constó de varias categorías, la Maratón de 42 Km , media maratón y 10,7 km
18, 9 y 4 vueltas a un circuito diseñado de 2.250 mts. Los voluntarios en un número de 24, se repartieron a lo largo de todo el recorrido controlando los puntos «calientes» del mismo, pasos de cebra, cruces y salidas de garajes. Desde las 8,45 h ya que el circuito se abría a las 9h y hasta las 11,45 h aproximadamente se desarrolló la prueba sin ningún incidente reseñable pese alguna caída dolorosa. Tras una foto de rigor en la zona del podiúm (interior de la Ciudadela) terminamos nuestra labor en una agradable mañana.
